"You know her?" Asked Brigitte.
The Delaque Psy-Gheist nodded slowly, looking visibly paler than usual at the sight of her.
"She is known to us" he replied, "Her name is Scrutinator Primus Servalen. She is a soulless abomination...the lapdog of the Provost Marshall."
"The Provost Marshall of Hive Primus who reports only to Lord Helmawr himself?" Interrupted WR-41-TH.
"Unless you know of another Provost Marshall? Then yes." Replied Oberon, regaining some of his composure at the shock of seeing her.
"We're a long way from Primus, are you sure it's her?" Asked Brigitte.
"Helmawr's reach is long" replied Oberon "And I can feel her...or the lack of her, when I look upon her obscene visage."
Brigitte lifted her scope to look again at the Scrutinator. She noticed the way that the rest of her Enforcer entourage kept their distance. 'More through fear than just allowing her room to inspect the work that had been carried out' she mused. 'Whatever she was doing this far from Hive Primus she was sure to know more than the local Enforcers did.'
"Grab your gear" ordered Brigitte. "It's time we introduced ourselves to Scrutinator Primus Servalen!...And I want her taken alive"
The Regulators deployed at the northern edge hoping to catch out the unaware Enforcers.
Plasma tore into the sniper but incredibly his armour withstood the blast. However, the force of the Plasma slammed the Enforcer into the barrier and the unfortunate patrolman fell to his death!
Oberon moved out from behind the old mine shaft and sprayed his Web Pistol at two unsuspecting Enforcers.
One patrolman was ensnared by the sticky filaments but the Subjugator manged to break free.
The Subjugator climbed to his feet and returned fire with his grenade launcher but the grenade flew wide. Brigitte tried to help out with her Bolter but the exploding grenade obviously affected her aim and her Bolter rounds missed.
Grimy and Howling Mad Mave added their firepower but the Subjugator led a charmed life and both shots flew wide. The Enforcer returned fire and blasted Grimy from his feet with a Frag Grenade stripping a wound from the Goliath Bully.
The Subjugator attempted to charge Grimy but Howling Mad Mave intercepted him. Once again the Subjugator led a charmed life as the Orlock Prospect failed to land a single blow. Fortunately for Mave, his return attack proved easy to dodge.
Maman Brigitte rushed in to help out but yet again the Subjugator proved impervious to harm as every attack failed to wound!
Oberon crept forward spotting an opportunity to cause maximum damage to the Enforcers.
The Psy-Gheist raised his Web Pistol, covering two Patrolmen and the Scrutinator and her hound with fine adhesive threads.
The two patrolmen fell to the enveloping threads but the Scrutinator and her hound tore them away before they could set, sounding the alarm to warn the rest of Enforcers.
The Enforcer Automata turned and launched a Gas grenade into Oberon, overwhelming the Psy-Gheist and seriously injuring him.
As Brigitte and Howling Mad Mave finished off the stalwart Subjugator, both Enforcers broke free of the Web and climbed to their feet. Another Subjugator charged into Oberon, taking him Out of Action with a Hand Injury!
The subjugator's victory was short lived however as a Bolt round from Brigitte's Bolter tore through his helmet showering his comrades with his brains.
The Escher leader came under a hail of fire from the Enforcers. A patrolman blasted her from her feet with a Salvo from his Shotgun, stripping her of two wounds and causing a Flesh Wound.
Then the Enforcer Sanctioner Automata launched a Gas grenade into her but Brigitte was made of sterner stuff than the Delaque Prospect and she shrugged off its effects.
Screaming her defiance, Brigitte sprung to her feet and and sprinted into the cover of the old ruins. Hot on her trail, the Enforcers sprinted after the injured Escher leader.
As the Enforcer Sanctioner rounded the corner Brigitte let fly with her Bolter. Three rounds slammed into it but all she succeeded in doing was knocking the Automata from its feet.
The Enforcer Captain rounded the corner and he levelled his Bolter at the Escher leader. Three Bolt rounds slammed into Brigitte but two merely ricocheted from her armour. The third knocked the Escher leader to the ground causing two Flesh Wounds. Brigitte was bleeding out badly and the next wound we see her go Out of Action!
Grimy charged the Enforcer bringing up the rear. The Goliath Bully smashed him to the ground taking him Out of Action.
WR-41-TH powered up his Plasma Gun to maximal and took careful aim at the Sanctioner Automata. The Ad-Mech's aim was true and the Sanctioner was reduced to little more than boiling slag.
Another Enforcer levelled his Shotgun at Grimy but the shot failed to wound the Goliath Bully and his Nerves of Steel kept him on his feet.
Howling Mad Mave launched herself into the Enforcer and hacked him down with her Chainsword.
Brigitte Sprung-Up and launched herself into the Enforcer captain. The Escher leader plunged her Stiletto Sword into the hapless captain four times taking the Enforcer Out of Action with extreme prejudice!
No doubt attracted by all of the noise, a band of roving Mutants showed up in the South-West.
Howling Mad Mave blasted the Scrutinator's hound with her Sawn-Off shotgun taking it Out of Action and leaving the Scrutinator all alone.
Most of the Mutants thought better of interfering in the fire-fight and fled the area but one saw an easy mark in the lonely Scrutinator and he opened up on her with his reclaimed Autogun, stripping a wound from the beleaguered Enforcer.
The Scrutinator Primus climbed to her feet and calmly put a Stub Gun round between his eyes taking him Out of Action.
WR-41-TH moved up to target the Enforcer sniper that had taken up a commanding position above the settlement.
With the Enforcer's distracted Howling Mad Mave jumped behind an old shack and readied her weapons to pounce on an unsuspecting 'lawman'.
With her attention focused elsewhere, Grimy charged into the Scrutinator and pistol-whipped her to the ground taking her Out of Action and claiming the Regulator's prize.

The Escher Leader managed three kills in this game but was down to toughness 1 (from toughness 4) and was lucky to survive the game.

WR-41-TH
The Ad-Mech Specialist managed one kill taking out the Enforcer Sanctioner Automata. He was unlucky not to get the other kill but the Sniper fell to his death rather than the actual Plasma shot.

The Orlock Wrecker claimed two kills. She might not hit very hard but she proved once again how invaluable her speed can be.

Oberon
The Delaque Psy-Gheist is much more effective with his Web Pistol but he's so eager to use it that he often jumps in rashly without any support 😀. He managed one kill but the disruption he causes is invaluable.

Grimy
The Goliath Bully managed to take out two Enforcers, one of which was the capture of Scrutinator Primus Servalen. His ability to withstand potential damage is proving to a be a vital asset, especially with the loss of Ludwig.

All of the Regulators took a step back as WR-41-TH removed the sack covering Servalen's head. Congealed blood matted her hair and one eye was closed up from bruising. Even battered and cuffed to the chair there was a menacing aura about her that made Brigitte want to flee the room.
"I'll tell you nothing!" Growled the Scrutinator spitting blood onto the floor.
The Regulators took another step back.
'I'm not alone in my fear.' Thought Brigitte as she looked at the rest of the Regulators. 'Only WR-41-TH appears to be unaffected by her presence. No surprise there though, I'm beginning to think that there isn't much humanity left in him.
As if to prove her point WR-41-TH lowered himself into the chair opposite her.
"Oh, hush now." Said the Ad-Mech in his usual monotone voice. "We haven't even asked you anything yet" he continued as he placed his fighting knife onto the table.
Servalen's eye moved to the blade.
"I'm sure you'll tell us everything you know" he said as he picked up the knife "We'll start with the finger nails and take from there."

Bit of a nail biter that one especially with a reduced set of regulators. What are the authorities hiding? will oberon survive a game at some point? all these questions and more will soon be answered.
